<style type="text/css">a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } </style> <h2><strong>Technical Brazing Specialist / Lead Brazer (M/F)</strong><br /> <br /> <strong>Position Overview</strong><br /> As part of its metal fabrication and assembly activities, our client is seeking a <strong>Technical Brazing Specialist</strong> to provide technical expertise in brazing processes, support production teams, and ensure that all manufactured assemblies comply with quality, safety, and customer requirements.<br /> <br /> <strong>Key Responsibilities : </strong><br /> <br /> <u>Technical Expertise</u></h2> <ul> <li>Perform brazing operations on various materials.</li> <li>Define, validate, and optimize brazing parameters.</li> <li>Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of manufacturing routes and procedures.</li> <li>Provide technical support to operators and cross-functional departments.</li> </ul> <u>Team Support and Training</u> <ul> <li>Train new brazers on best practices and brazing techniques.</li> <li>Support the skills development of production teams.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with manufacturing procedures and standards.</li> <li>Act as the technical point of reference for production issues and non-conformities.</li> </ul> <u>Quality and Continuous Improvement</u> <ul> <li>Inspect and verify the conformity of brazed assemblies.</li> <li>Participate in root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions.</li> <li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, 5S, QRQC, etc.).</li> <li>Ensure full traceability of operations in accordance with quality requirements.</li> </ul> <u>Safety and Compliance</u> <ul> <li>Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.</li> <li>Monitor the conformity and proper maintenance of brazing equipment and tooling.</li> <li>Participate in internal and external audits.</li> </ul> <br /> <strong>Candidate Profile</strong><br /> <br /> <u>Education</u> <ul> <li>Vocational Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Metal Fabrication, Welding, Metallurgy, or a related field.</li> <li>A brazing certification would be an advantage.</li> </ul> <u>Experience</u> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial brazing.</li> <li>Experience within the aerospace, Defence, energy, or precision manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.</li> </ul> <u>Technical Skills</u> <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of manual brazing processes and/or controlled atmosphere brazing.</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.</li> <li>Good understanding of industrial quality standards.</li> <li>Proficiency in the use of inspection and measurement tools.</li> <li>Solid understanding of the metallurgical principles related to brazing.</li> </ul>
